The 8802 Commercial Series incorporate a standard 2¼ × 1⅛" wide faceplate and are designed for commercial and residential doors 1¾" thick and greater.
A universal curved lip strike is supplied for hollow metal and wood frame construction 2¾ × 1¼" (70 × 32 mm) lip to center. Flat lip, full lip, special length and custom strikes may also be ordered to accommodate various project conditions and requirements. All 8802 series latches, mortise bolts and strikes are field reversible.
The 7010 passage latches are regularly furnished with a ½" throw one-piece mechanical heavy-duty solid brass satin nickel finished latch bolt. They employ high-carbon steel compression springs for long life and durability of service. Uni-directional hubs designed for levers only, are fabricated of solid brass for additional strength and feature a 28 degree rotation of the hub for positive latch retraction. Cases accommodate FSB through bolted trim for positive alignment with the latch case. One of the greatest advantages of the 7010 commercial grade latch is the ability to combine it with any of our FSB roses, particularly with 2⅛" (55 mm) standard roses.
For use as a privacy function, it is necessary to utilize an independent mortise bolt. The 7020 mortise dead bolt is fabricated in solid brass satin nickel finished.
Faceplates and strikes are fabricated standard in nonmagnetic 304 alloy stainless steel. Brass or bronze substrates and most decorative finishes may be had on a special order basis.
The 8802–7010 is UL Listed (3 Hour) for use on fire doors, surpasses over 400,000 operating cycles and can be specified for applications in offices, schools, hospitals, hotels, and commercial buildings, as well as residences.
